Human behaviour is the key to success in all aspects of health. Individual, societal, and institutional variables influence the capacity, opportunity, and incentive of individuals (including service/health providers), households, and communities to embrace and uphold the practice of priority behaviours.
By addressing the internal, individual, social, and structural factors that influence those priority behaviours, evidence-based, theory-informed social and behaviour change (SBC) interventions increase the ability, opportunity, and motivation of individuals (including health service providers) to adopt and sustain those behaviours.
BDIT COLLEGE’s Social and Behavior Change Communication provides participants with an understanding of the fundamentals and situations surrounding communication in order to create and design messages that promote behavioral adoption and maintenance.
By influencing information, attitudes, and social norms, this training course will give participants the practical skill sets, attitude and competencies needed to utilize successful communication approaches to modify behaviors and achieve social change within their organizations and individually.
